Time as the Fourth Dimension in Dental Implantology
Minimizing the exposure time of open-flap surgery will reduce: postoperative edema, incision line opening, postoperative infection, postoperative discomfort, patient morbidity, postoperative medication use, and for the surgeon, overall operative time. This clearly represents a significant benefit for the patient.
This lecture is based on a two-part presentation of multiple clinical cases.

1) Surgical Phase
Stereolithography, surgical guides, bone graft guides, bone reduction guides, sinus window guides, GT incision guides, and optical scans will be utilized to reduce surgical time.
Tissue regeneration using bone substitutes such as allografts, xenografts, PDGF, PRP, A-PRF, and BMP-2 will be implemented in order to avoid the need for a second surgical donor site.

2) Prosthetic / Loading Phase
Immediate loading in the esthetic zone using All-on-X treatment concepts without bone grafting to further optimize treatment time.
